Continuing Certification Committee

The ABTC Continuing Certification Committee is responsible for ensuring a rigorous, effective continuing certification process for transplant professionals. The committee develops, implements, and maintains a system for ongoing certification, allowing certified professionals to demonstrate sustained expertise in their field. This includes creating and managing a mechanism for awarding Continuing Education Points for Transplant Certification (CEPTCs) through approved educational programs. The committee also maintains a roster of certified coordinators, regularly reviews single, and approved provider educational offerings, and conducts quality control checks to ensure recertification applications meet ABTC standards. Through these efforts, the committee supports the high standards and continued professional growth of the transplant community.
