ABTC
Examination

We are happy to announce that ABTC has partnered with the Transplant Financial Coordinators Association (TFCA) to administer the TFC certification exam (https://www.prlog.org/12974316-abtc-and-tfca-join-forces-to-deliver-the-tfca-certification-exam.html). The TFCA Exam Committee has worked in collaboration with ABTC on the testing process to deliver the exam. The exam will now be provided in PSI exam centers. The dates for the next exam administration cycle are May 1 – May 22, 2024. Online applications for the TFC certification exam will be available beginning the second week of March on the ABTC Certification Management Platform, Certemy (https://abtc.net/candidates/examination). Following acceptance of individual applications, PSI will provide exam scheduling information.
The ABTC looks forward to continuing to work with TFCA to administer the exam and recertification process. For those individuals currently TFC certified, certifications expiring will be extended through 12/31/2024.  Further details regarding the recertification process will be made available soon through both the ABTC and TFCA websites and the TFCA Listserv.

Successful completion of an ABTC certification exam demonstrates dedication to the profession to quality patient care, a high level of knowledge and competence in the field of organ donation and transplantation.  Upon passing the exam, practitioners become a part of an elite community of certified professionals who perform at the peak of their field.
